"Show Me the Money"
This line became famous in the movie with Tom Cruise and Cuba Gooding, Jr., "Jerry McGuire." The last 17 years has seen that struggle of "Show me the Money" chasing the money key to unlock the door for the entertainment biz. Many talented, creative, ambitious, individuals that strive to work in the entertainment biz, experience the same problems. Most savvy investors can't think "out of the box" of brick and mortar to take a risk on a film or TV show. Ninety-nine percent of those investors still have a misconception on the value of what a creative young team can bring to the table with a dynamic script and a grassroots marketing effort that distribute a ROI that charts the top. I can hear your screams....GIVE US A CHANCE.
Step out of the box like I am doing and raise the money yourself. Don't be dependent on that pie in the sky in hopes that Mr. Money Bags is going to drop millions in your lap? The investor that would do that is not a good investor and most likely doesn't have money. That investor is putting up a "smoke and mirrors" impression. Why someone would do this is beyond me, but I have seen my share of those people in my 17 years in this biz. I am sure you have experienced them too.
Fundraiser 1.0 might be the slow way to reach your goals to raise millions for your next feature film, great drama or reality show, but it can be done with the three P's persistence, patience and perseverance. The three P"s are what every talented, dedicated, creative, ambitious, film maker, producer, writer, director, crew member or grunt knows inorder to climb to the top.
Coming from experience this program can truly be a blessing. Check it out!
